The Mission Plan of the Presbytery of North East and Northern Isles, (formerly the Mission plan of the Presbytery of Aberdeen and Shetland) has established a Parish Area Grouping for us and three other Church of Scotland congregations.  

St Machar’s is part of the Old Aberdeen Grouping and is joined by the congregations of Oldmachar, St Mary’s and St Stephen’s. Together they are tasked with sharing the mission and outreach in the Tillydrone community and sharing staffing resources committed by the presbytery. Each congregation has been going through a period of transition of its own, which means we are still in the learning phase of what closer working together might mean for us.
