The Zoology Museum is open between 10 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday. Families and individuals can drop into the museum without prebooking. However, for health and safety regulations, organised groups visiting together, such as schools, nurseries or community groups, should book their visit in advance.
The Aberdeen Biodiversity Centre is open for the general public on Mondays and Wednesdays between 10 am to 4pm unless pre-booked for group activities.
The Cruickshank Botanic Garden is open every day, including weekends. Members of the public are welcome to visit without a booking, but organised groups must make a booking in order to comply with health and safety regulations. Toilet facilities are available in the Zoology Building from Monday to Friday only.
With spectacular buildings old and new there is plenty to see. Go to the Sir Duncan Rice library for something modern with spectacular views, and to King’s College Chapel for an historic gem. Download the accessible route map.

This gives children the chance to get down and examine the kirkyard up close. We can lend you magnifying glasses and trail leaflets – just ask staff on duty.
